DESCRIPTION

 The “Linked Chair” explores the inherent irony of human relationships: how we are simultaneously liberated and confined by our connections with others. 

The chair’s structure resembles several chairs linked together, symbolically representing individuals bound by these connections. 

Stainless steel rings move freely yet never apart from the form that holds them, embodying how relationships grant us freedom while inevitably restricting us. As the rings move, their collisions create subtle sounds that reveal the delicate interplay between friction and harmony within relationships. 

Just as relationships both bind and free us, the rings adorn the chair while constraining its form. Through the simplicity of the rings, the piece reflects on the contradictions embedded in human connection.
